Your publishing process
- Submit your project details. Complete the form below. Upload a manuscript or sample if available; you can begin while still writing.
- Book your consultation. Choose an available 30-minute phone or Zoom appointment. We discuss your audience, manuscript readiness, formats and goals.
- Review your recommendation. We confirm the suitable tier, included deliverables, additional services, timeline and payment arrangements in a written proposal.
- Approve your proposal. Accept the agreement and complete the payment specified in your proposal. Then provide your final files and approved content.
- Create, proof and publish. We prepare the agreed editions and materials. You review proofs and give written approval before release. Launch and platform support follow your selected package.

Payment options are available. We will explain the options, payment schedule and delivery arrangements during the purchase and onboarding process. Monthly payment options are not eligible for this discount.
Production timeframe: Launch, Impact and Legacy: 1–2 months. Legacy Elite: 2–3 months for initial production; its twelve monthly strategy sessions continue on their agreed schedule. Your proposal confirms timing based on final edited content, approvals and scope.
Publishing project terms
Pausing or cancelling production
Provide 14 business days’ written notice to info@sharpeprints.com. From the date notice is received, no new production or new project stages begin. Work already started continues to completion. Payments for production already commenced are non-refundable; you will not be charged for future stages that have not started.
Resuming a paused project
A paused project has a 30-day window to resume. We send a reminder five days before that deadline. Resuming requires a C$150 service fee and payment of the monthly balance due for resumption. Production does not restart until payments are up to date. Contact us within the 30-day window to arrange resumption.
Cancellation, delivery and project closure
If you cancel, you receive the completed work and the deliverables from production already commenced, once that work is finished. The cancellation provisions govern delivery of this work. You are not charged for unstarted future stages. You will be asked to sign a closure acknowledgment accepting the completed work and confirming that the remaining project is abandoned, with no further work or deliverables expected.
Once a project is abandoned and closed, it cannot be resumed. Any subsequent engagement requires a new proposal and payment arrangement. Payments from a closed project are not transferable.
These publishing terms are confirmed in your agreement. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected. See our ordering and customer-care policy for reporting production or service issues.

Please allow 5–10 minutes to describe your manuscript, intended audience and required services. Select “Not sure” if you would like a package recommendation.
This initial review helps us assess project fit and scope; it does not include manuscript editing or guarantee publication. Please submit only material you own or are authorized to share.
Book your 30-minute publishing consultation
Schedule a phone or Zoom consultation to discuss your project. You may book before submitting your manuscript; our team will explain the materials required for review.
Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time; the last 30-minute start is 4:30 PM. The booking calendar shows current availability and your selected time zone.
You will receive the appointment confirmation and meeting details by email. Use the links in that email to reschedule or cancel. If you have already booked, a second appointment is not required.
Proposal and onboarding
1. Confirm your proposal
Review the recommended tier, editions, deliverables, exclusions, schedule, revision rounds and payment terms. Request clarification before approving your proposal. Submitting an inquiry does not place an order.
2. Complete enrolment
Approve the service agreement and complete the payment specified in your proposal using the payment instructions our team provides. Please use the payment method provided by our team; do not submit card details through the manuscript form or email.
3. Provide your project materials
Provide your final edited manuscript, author biography, book description, high-resolution images and permissions. For website tiers, prepare approved copy and arrange access with our team; do not submit passwords through the manuscript form.
4. Review and approve
We confirm your project contact, milestones and file handoff. Send consolidated feedback during the included revision rounds and approve final proofs in writing before publication or print production.
Before you begin
Can I request a consultation before my manuscript is complete?
Yes. Select your current manuscript stage and describe your goals. We can discuss preparation; production depends on a final, professionally edited manuscript and agreed scope.
Are editing, children’s books and custom formats available?
Yes. Include your word count, page estimate, images and format needs in the project details. Editing, image-heavy layouts and custom work require review and may be quoted separately.
Is a purchase required to submit a project?
No. Submit your project and discuss it with our team first. Your written proposal confirms the scope, price and next steps before purchase.
Can I bring my manuscript to the store?
Our Scarborough location is not yet open for walk-ins. The grand opening is estimated for October 2026. Please submit your project online and arrange a phone or Zoom consultation.
